The Challenge We Face
For many years, the shortage of on-campus parking at St. Francis High School has forced our students and families into the dangerous practice of parking across the street and crossing Roosevelt Road.
Our current parking agreement with Target (across the street) expires on May 31, 2026, leaving us short of approximately 100 essential spaces. Additionally, with 1,900 vehicles driving by our school every hour, and two recent accidents in front of the school, we need a viable solution for the thousands of community members and prospective families who visit our campus each year.
Our Solution
Because of this, the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors has given the approval to move forward on the construction of a new parking lot on campus that will add 105 spaces.
This eliminates the need for our students to park anywhere but onsite and is a decisive step toward a safer campus for everyone.
