The best way to experience St. Francis High School is to visit the campus and meet some of the people who make it extraordinary.  The Admissions staff at St. Francis High School offers a number of events throughout the year to provide you and your child with the opportunity to see for yourself if our school is the right fit.  We encourage anyone considering St. Francis High School to join us at any of our Admissions events.  Some of these events have a limited capacity, so we encourage you to sign up early.

  • Shadow

    Spend A Morning With Us!

    Shadowing gives you the opportunity to experience the St. Francis High School community and life as a Spartan. Walk our campus, hear us pray together, visit classes, and leave with a better understanding of the Franciscan spirit and enthusiasm at SFHS. Our goal is for you to see the advantage of a St. Francis High School education. We look forward to you spending the morning with us!
    Shadow days will be limited to 5 visiting 8th grade students per day in order to maintain appropriate physical distancing. A Virtual Shadow Day is also available (click here).
    Visit Details
    • Visits begin September 21, 2020.
      Visit days are on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
    • Please arrive at 7:30 a.m. at Door #1. Please park in the marked visitor spots, #40-44 in the west parking lot.
    • An Admissions representative will be present to greet you.
    • A health and wellness certification is required for all students when they arrive to campus. We will verify each shadow guest is not experiencing a fever or COVID/upper respiratory symptoms.
    • All prospective students will attend five class periods (lunch not provided).
    • Please bring a book to read in class in the event of a test or quiz.
    • The Shadow Day is over at 11:45 a.m., and students will be escorted back to Door #1 for pick-up.

    Dress Code
    St. Francis High School maintains a uniform dress code. Nice casual is the general rule for shadow guests.  Masks are required for all guests in the building.
    Boys – Dress pants/shorts, dress shoes, and a collared shirt. Polo style shirts are acceptable. 
    Girls – Dress pants or dress skirt and dress shoes.
    No jeans, t-shirts, sweatpants, sweatshirts, leggings, sleeveless or mid-drift tops allowed.

    Important Information
    Reservations are first come, first served and will be limited to five students per day. All student hosts are recruited from the Student Ambassador Leadership Team (SALT). If you have a friend currently enrolled at St. Francis High School and would like to have him or her serve as your host, please make the request to the Office of Admissions after scheduling by calling (630) 668-5800 ext. 1100.
  • Talk & Tour

    Prospective families are invited to join a member of our Admissions Team to talk about SFHS and tour the building. Talk & Tour visits will be offered on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. when students are engaged in online learning offsite. Appointments will be personalized to accommodate one family at a time. All visitors must follow SFHS health and safety guidelines including a health screening, on-site temperature check, and use of face mask when in the building.

    • Please at Door #4 (Main Office). Visitor parking is available to the right of the main doors.
    • An Admissions representative will be present to greet you.
    • Tours are approximately one hour.
  • Open House

    Sign up for Open House Tour! Tours will be given in 40 minute intervals and will be led by our Student Ambassador Leadership Team members. This is a great way to see the school and ask any questions you may have about St. Francis High School.
    Tours are by appointment only. One sign up covers the entire family.
    All visitors must follow SFHS health and safety guidelines including a health screening, on-site temperature check, and use of face mask when in the building.

  • Rise Up

    Saturday, November 7
    9:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m.
    Online registration closes on November 3 and is required for all those planning on attending.  Maximum number of attendees is 30.

    Rise Up is an opportunity for all current 8th grade students to participate in a day of leadership, teamwork, character building, and service run by the National Honor Society.  St. Francis High School’s National Honor Society members will guide current 8th grade students through activities and workshops that will prepare them for high school and beyond.

  • Information Sessions

    Join us for an introduction to our exceptional college preparatory, faith-filled community. This event is designed to give prospective families more information about St. Francis High School. Sessions will be recorded and posted on our website for families who are unable to tune-in live.

    Come cheer on the Spartans! Free admission for grade school students with your pre-registration. Come 30 minutes before the game time to enter a raffle and win prizes.

    9:00 a.m.-Noon
    All incoming 7th graders are invited to a fun-packed day at St. Francis High School!
    • Meet current SFHS students and fellow 7th grade future Spartans
    • Participate in team building activities
    • Compete in the Spartan Amazing Race

    9:00-10:15 a.m.
    Parents are invited for coffee and a tour of St. Francis High School.
  • Francis Fest 8th Grade Night
