An SFHS Education

St. Francis High School prepares students to be critical thinkers and faith-filled, responsible adults. Our teachers adapt to various instructional methodologies, assist students beyond class hours, engage students through mobile learning, and promote student achievement. 100% of our students graduate and are college-bound, earning acceptances at more than 350 colleges and universities throughout the last five years.

Sports at SFHS

St. Francis High School offers 24 athletic teams that provide and foster teamwork, collaboration, discipline, respect, responsibility and sportsmanship opportunities. In addition to utilizing and sharing their athletic abilities, we allow our athletes to develop communication, leadership and interpersonal skills that will prepare them for success in life.

The Admissions staff at St. Francis High School offers a number of events throughout the year to provide you and your child with the opportunity to see for yourself if our school is the right fit. We encourage anyone considering St. Francis High School to join us at any of our Admissions events. Some of these events have a limited capacity, so we encourage you to sign up early.

Talk & Tour
To schedule your family’s Talk & Tour appointment,

Prospective families are invited to join a member of our Admissions Team to talk about SFHS and tour the building. Appointments will be personalized to accommodate one family at a time.
Visit Details
Please at Door #4 (Main Office). Visitor parking is available to the right of the main doors.
An Admissions representative will be present to greet you.
Tours are approximately one hour.
Shadow

Shadow Days
Our Campus Visit/Shadow Program is closed for this school year. If your child is currently in 8th grade or high school, please email kdannheim@sfhscollegeprep.org. We invite current 7th grade students to shadow in the fall. Registration opens September 1st.

Our most comprehensive visit event
St. Francis High School holds our annual Open House in October and November each year. Students and families of all ages are invited. Prospective students and their families will have the opportunity to learn about the SFHS academic program, student life and activities, formation and ministry programming, school culture, and athletics. The event includes guided tours of campus and the opportunity to meet St. Francis High School faculty, staff, administrators, students, coaches, and club moderators. Come experience everything that SFHS offers!

Step Up Day
October 11, 2024
Experience a slice of life as a Spartan! This half-day experience will allow 8th grade students to attend mini-classes that will offer demonstrations, workshops, and games.

Eighth-grade students choose from a variety of workshops and immerse themselves in exciting new experiences!

Step Up Day Workshop Options:
English – Exercises and activities designed to unleash your creativity in writing and reading.
PE – Have a blast in PE where fun meets fitness.
World Language – Discover our world language courses—Chinese, French, and Spanish—and pick up some new and useful words.
Social Studies/Business – Play “Survivor” by tackling tasks related to Social Studies and Business.
Science – Discover how lava lamps work by creating your own.
Performing and Visual Arts – This unique workshop features art, music, and theatre activities for a one-of-a-kind experience.
Math/Technology – Unlock your potential at our engaging math workshop and transform complex problems into simple solutions.
Rise Up–for 8th grade students

November 9, 2024
Rise Up is an opportunity for all current 8th-grade students to participate in a day of leadership, teamwork, character-building, and service run by the National Honor Society. St. Francis High School’s National Honor Society members will guide current 8th-grade students through activities and workshops that will prepare them for high school and beyond.
