Sports at SFHS

St. Francis High School offers an array of co-curricular activities that help students to realize and share their gifts and talents.

The goal of the department is to provide an educational environment that fosters teamwork, collaboration, discipline, respect, personal responsibility, and sportsmanship. This allows our students to develop communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills that will prepare them for success beyond their time at St. Francis High School.

PLEASE NOTE: We have BOTH Summer Camp and Spring SFHS Sports Registrations open!

ONLY CURRENT SFHS STUDENTS (CURRENT 9th-12th GRADES) should be registering for Spring Sports! If your student is CURRENTLY in 8th Grade or younger, your ONLY option for registration is Summer Camps!

SPRING SPORTS REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2025/2026

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

All student-athletes must have the following items completed BEFORE they can try out, practice or participate. Please ensure that all of your information is completed and uploaded to Magnus Health Student Health Tracker (magnushealthportal.com). This includes a current Physical Exam Form (dated within one calendar year). The deadline to submit this information is February 20, 2026.

In addition, view the SFHS Athletic video and complete the online forms listed below, via our online athletic registration, Snap Manage. Please login to https://sfhs.8to18.com.

NOTE: These forms must be completed online with an electronic signature. All online forms are due no later than February 20, 2026. Participation fees for no-cut sports are paid online at the time of registration. Participation fees for cut sports are paid after rosters are confirmed.

A signed Parent Permission form for athletic participation
A signed IHSA Sports Medicine consent form
A signed Co-Curricular Participation contract
A signed Student Athlete Consent to Treat form

SFHS coaches will receive a list of participants who have completed all forms and are cleared to participate. Please check with your coach 30 minutes before the start of the first try-out/practice session to ensure that your name is on the list. If you are not, then you have not been cleared to participate/try-out. If this is the case, please report to the Athletic Director’s office immediately to determine what is needed to be cleared for participation. Once you are cleared, you will be given a signed clearance pass to hand to your coach so you can begin participation. You will not be allowed to participate without being on the list or receiving clearance from the Athletic Office. Sorry, no exceptions.

Congratulations to Spartan Football on winning the 5A IHSA State Football Championship! The game was on Tuesday, December 2, against Providence Catholic High School with a final score of 39-35.
