Jill Elise Adamek, age 46, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away unexpectantly on December 28, 2025
Jill was born on March 21,1979 in Houston, Texas. She was raised in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. She graduated from St. Francis High School in Wheaton, Illinois and received her Bachelor of Science in Informational Technology from Benedictine University graduating with honors. She enjoyed activities such as soccer, swimming, nature, fishing, arts and crafts, and her furry best friend Mac. She dedicated many years to managing Taylor Street / Capri Pizza, Weaton. Those who knew Jill will remember her love for Toby Keith and Fleetwood Mac, Winnie the Pooh, the Dallas Cowboys, and her out of this world sense of humor, contagious laugh, and the way she lit up a room.
Jill was preceded in death by her mother Linda Benson; stepmother Christina Adamek, her grandparents William and Helen Adamek, and William and Joyce Benson.
She is survived by her life partner Sean Hill, and his daughter Kayla Lindberg; her beloved father Alan Adamek and stepmother Maria Dierckens. Her siblings Andy Adamek, Kari Adamek (Jason Brown); stepsiblings Lauren Biggus, Danielle Dierckens; Nephew Dylan Adamek (Alyssa Hauprich); aunts and uncles, Betty Adamek, Margie (Benson) and Tad Minkler, Suzanne (Benson) and Robert Robotti, and Barbara (Benson) Vitetta; and many loving cousins, Bill, Joe, Daniel, Victoria Vitetta, Tim Minkler, Elise (Minkler) Hampe and their families.
Friends and family are kindly invited to join us for her interment on January 10 at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien, Illinois followed by a Celebration of Life at Reserve 22 in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.
