Barb adored her husband Jack and together they raised 8 children in Glen Ellyn, IL. They met in grade school at St. Mary of Czestochowa in Cicero, IL. Barb graduated from Nazareth High School in LaGrange, IL. Barb attended St. Theresa’s in Winona, Minnesota and graduated as a Registered Nurse in 1959.  Barb worked as an ER Nurse at LaGrange Hospital for several years.  She then taught Natural Childbirth classes from her home in Glen Ellyn.
Jack and Barb’s love of the catholic church was emulated by sending all their children to St. Francis High School in Wheaton, IL. Barb was extremely involved and supportedall sports that her children participated in for many years as a super fan at all activities at St. Francis.  Barb was also a volunteer coach for volleyball at St. James Grade School.  Barb often said that if sports were offered in high school to women she would have participated.
Barb’s biggest pastime would be playing tennis to her mid eighties at Wheaton Sport Center, Wildcat Run Tennis, and Golf Club in Estero Florida.  Barb and her husband Jack had many friends that they socialized with throughout the Tennis community. Barb also watched all the competitions on the Tennis Channel on a daily basis. Barb had a knack for decorating, shopping and gardening.  Barb loved spending time visiting with family and friends. She especially loved going to all her grandchildren’s sporting events.
Barb also supported many Catholic Charities, so we ask in Lieu of flowers that you donate to either of the following:
