John Wick 4 Review

Characters: 10/10. The characters  really helped make this movie the best John Wick movie yet. Seeing Charon die made me cry because the actor who plays him recently passed away too. Caine was absolutely my favorite character in this movie. At first, he was this really cool assassin that was blind; but when he helped John at the end of the movie even though he was being forced to kill him showed the respect that John and he had for each other. John himself was also breathtaking. His death was one of the most beautiful deaths in any movie ever and it was the perfect end to his story.

Villain: 9/10. The Marquis was great, but not perfect. Compared to other John Wick villains, he’s second best, behind Tarasov in the first John Wick movie. What was great about the Marquis was how menacing he was: for example, when he put the knife in Nobody’s hand. He was also a brat by not being the one to duel John.

Plot: 10/10. This movie has one of the best plots I have ever seen in any movie ever. The character development, the ending, the dialogue, everything was perfect. I am so happy that I got the chance to see this movie, and I think I will be talking about this film for maybe the rest of my life.

Visuals: 10/10. This movie was beautiful. The Sacré Coeur duel while the sun was setting was stunning. The agreement scene was perfectly symmetrical and was framed amazingly with the Eiffel Tower in the background. The dragon breath scene made my mouth actually drop. The Japan Continental scene felt like I was actually there in that one room where John kept destroying all the glass. Everything about how this movie was shot was perfect.

Overall: 9.5/10. This movie was perfect. Yes, the Marquis could’ve been better but he wasn’t terrible. I can not wait to re-watch this movie and find new things over and over again.
