Legend - Book Review

Legend by Marie Lu is one of the best books I have read! Legend is a dystopian futuristic novel. The book switches perspectives in each chapter, which adds dimension and suspense to this already-suspenseful novel. Lu did an amazing job of keeping the reader engaged and on their toes. Legend is action-packed, suspenseful, and plays with your emotions. This book will pull at your heartstrings but will also leave you screaming at the characters and their actions. Legend appeals to all types of audiences. If you are into unexpected love and romance, you’ll love this book. If you love action and war, you too will love this book.

Legend follows the storyline of Day, the most wanted criminal in the Republic of America, and June, the government's prodigy. Legend takes place in Los Angeles in the future after the western and eastern parts of the United States split up and are now at war. The two are polar opposites… or so you think.
