Thomas Henehan

Thomas Lewis Kenehan was born August 29, 1931 and went to Heaven on December 12, 2017 at the age of 86 surrounded by the love and prayers of his family. He was the only child of Robert and Letha Kenehan of Denver, CO and beloved husband of 64 years to Shirley Ann (Canfield) of Carol Stream. A devoted father of four beloved children Debra Sue (Barry Judd) of Lexington, Kentucky; Thomas Lewis Jr. of Streamwood; Robert Clyde (JoAnn Lucas) of Lake Forest and Kathleen Ann Henson '89 of Wheaton, he also was the loving grandfather to 12 grandchildren and a large extended family. Loyalty being one his greatest traits, he worked for the Keebler Company for 40 years and spent the next 25 years of retirement enjoying his dogs, reading hundreds of books and spending time with family. With a great love of country, Tom was proudly an officer of the U.S. Air Force. Most importantly, Tom was kind to everyone he met and the impact of his loss is profound. He was an incredible man who lived his life with great honor to God. A celebration of life ceremony will be held Saturday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Glen Ellyn.
