In this past month of March, lots of history has been made in the NCAA basketball tournament. One of these record holders is Caitlin Clark, a junior at the University of Iowa. On Sunday, March 26 in the Climate Pledge Arena, Clark scored the first 40-point triple-double in NCAA tournament history, both men's and women's.
A triple-double is when someone has at least 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists in a basketball game. In Iowa's game against Louisville, Clark had 41 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists. Although this is an amazing record to hold, not many are surprised Caitlin Clark was the one to achieve this, as she is averaging 30 points per game and 10 assists. In addition to this record, Clark won over 20 awards this season alone.
Many people are saying she is the best shooter in all of college basketball currently. What do you think?
