The St. Francis High School community would like to extend our condolences to the Devilbiss family on the passing of Charles DeVilbiss, father of Julie DeVilbiss '80 Brenhofer, Kellie DeVilbiss '83, Cindie DeVilbiss '84 Logan, and Laurie DeVilbiss '85 Giblin and grandfather to Caroline Flood ‘10, Charlie Flood ‘12 and Patrick Flood '13.
We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2022, at the age of 84, Charles DeVilbiss of Bloomingdale, Illinois, born in Quincy, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry DeVilbiss and Cornelia DeVilbiss; and his sisters, Mildred "Mitzi" DeVilbiss, Phylis DeVilbiss, Mary Pierce (Wayne) and Rita Cramsey (Norbert).
He is survived by : his wife Kathleen; his daughters, Julie (Jason), Kellie (Craig), Cindie (Eli), Laurie (Sean), Katie (Danny) and Michele (Erik); and his grandchildren, Caroline, Charlie, Patrick Flood, Jordan, Zach, Jack Mann, Aidan, Hannah Logan, Shane Giblin, Payton and Sydney Wasserman. He is also survived by extended family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27th 2022 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Countryside Funeral Home and Crematory (333 S Roselle Rd, Roselle, IL 60172). A prayer will be held on Friday, January 28th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 28th 2022 at 11:30 AM at the St Walter Catholic Church (130 W Pine St, Roselle, IL 60172).
