Space: The Final Frontier

On October 12th, 2021, William Shatner, the star from the 1960’s TV show Star Trek, launched into space. Shatner played the role of Captain James T. Kirk, the pioneering captain of the Enterprise. Having been invited by Jeff Bezos, he joined three other passengers in the orbit.
He made his voyage on the Blue Origin spacecraft, taking part in its ten-minute journey out of the atmosphere. William Shatner, now 90, became the oldest man to go to space by 8 years. The television star joined other Star Trek actors among the stars. The ashes of Leonard Nimoy, who played Spock, the logic-obsessed Vulcan, were there along with James Doohan, who played Scotty, the hearty engineer. Shatner was the only one to travel to space alive.
