Apply/Entrance Exam Registration

Incoming Freshmen

Class of 2027 Application and HSPT Entrance Exam Registration

*When you apply to St. Francis High School, you are automatically registered for the Entrance Exam.

St. Francis High School is accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year. To access a student’s potential for success in the curricular and co-curricular educational programs, the following information is required for admission consideration:

  1. Complete Online Application, which includes $35 application fee
    • Step 1: Complete your pre-application Inquiry Form.
    • Step 2: Once our IT Department processes your inquiry, you will receive an invitation email from our portal provider (Blackbaud) to finish setting up your account. Please accept the invitation to access the mySFHS Portal.
    • Step 3: Complete your application to St. Francis High School through the MySFHS Portal.

  2. Upload a copy of the 7th grade report card.
    • A copy of the 7th grade report card must be uploaded to the Admissions checklist through the mySFHS portal.

  3. High School Placement Test
    St. Francis High School Entrance Exam Date – December 3, 2022, at 8:00 a.m.
    • Students who test at St. Francis High School will be given priority admission consideration and will be eligible for SFHS Scholarships
    • Students who apply after the Entrance Exam may still apply for admission but will be admitted as space allows.

General Policies

St. Francis High School admits Catholic and non-Catholic students, and/or students who have attended public school.

Transfer Students

Acceptance of transfer students is based on academic achievement, performance on standardized tests, co-curricular involvement, attendance and discipline records. 

St. Francis High School is accepting transfer applications for enrollment in January 2023.
 
In order to assess a student’s potential for success in the curricular and co-curricular educational programs, the following information is required for admission consideration:

  2. The following documents must be uploaded to your Admissions account through the MySFHS Portal.
    • Copy of current year report card including grades in progress (progress report)
    • Copy of high school transcript
    • Copy of the results of the most recent standardized test
    • A parent statement explaining reason for transfer request
    • A student statement explaining reason for transfer request
    • A list of the student’s activities from the last two years
    • Request for Student Information Form (discipline and attendance) to be faxed directly from present high school to St. Francis High School.

When all required components of the application are uploaded to your Admissions account, the complete application will be submitted to the Admissions Review Committee for an acceptance decision. Typically the review process takes 3-5 business days.
