Susan Jania '04 Foley is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Diamond Envelope Corporation. As CEO, Susan is responsible for providing strategic leadership for the company by working with the board of directors, the family advisory board and executive management team to establish long-range goals, strategies, processes and policies. Susan’s day-to-day responsibilities include operations management and financial oversight.
Susan has previous experience as a Human Resources & Supply Chain Director, Customer Service Manager, Account Executive and Manufacturing Logistics Manager.
Susan is actively involved in raising awareness for viable long-term careers in manufacturing to the local community. She believes in reaching out to local high schools and community colleges, giving career-ready students the opportunity to succeed at work, while encouraging further education that will help improve their skills on the job.
Susan was honored as a 2013 Influential Women in Business by the Daily Herald – Business Ledger and 2015 STEP Award Emerging Leaders – Women in Manufacturing by the Manufacturing Institute (apart of NAM).
Susan holds an MBA degree from the University of Notre Dame and a BS degree in Supply Chain & Information Systems from The Pennsylvania State University. She is active in a number of industry and community organizations, including the Chicago Family Business Council, Fab Fems & STEM Role Models, St. Francis High School and The Penn State Dance MaraTHON. Susan is married, with one daughter, Madelyn, and resides in Winfield, IL with their rescued Labrador Retriever-Coonhound dog, named Kona.
