Susan Dugan

The St. Francis High School community would like to extend our condolences to the Dugan family on the passing of Susan Dugan, mother of Ann Dugan '81 Van Thournout, Kathy Dugan '83 Danosky, Colleen Dugan '84 & Bill Dugan '88 and grandparent of Meghan Van Thournout '12 Guilfoile & Taylor Van Thournout '15. 
Susan K. Dugan, age 83 passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 11, 2024.  Sue was born in Fondulac, Wisconsin on October 24, 1940. Sue moved to Lombard, Illinois as a young girl. Sue graduated from Immaculate Conception High School in 1958 and graduated from Western Illinois University with an education degree in 1962. The high school prom queen married Edward F. Dugan on July 7, 1962.
Together they had four children: Ann(Rich) Van Thournout, Kathy (Steve) Danosky, Colleen Dugan and Bill (Jen) Dugan, 8 grand children and 1 great grand child.
Sue’s life was filled with friends, family and world travel. Sue and Ed spent their later years together in Fort Myers, Florida playing golf and cultivating life long friendships.
She will be dearly missed but we take comfort knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband of 59 years.
