Gary Grissinger '69

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Jean nee Streit, his son, Bryan (Amy), and his cherished grandchildren, Alexa, Ryder, Amelia, Jacob and Ella. He is also survived by his caring sisters, Louise and Sara, and Brother-in-Law, Fr. Thomas Streit, CSC. Gary was preceded in death by his son Kevin (Stacy Grissinger Nobis), his mother Jane, and his father Harry.

Gary will be remembered for his humor and passion for aviation and the outdoors. He loved flying, boating, and taking camping and hunting trips with family and friends. He had a successful career as a Captain for United Airlines and loved to travel with his family.

The loss of Gary Grissinger leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be dearly missed, but his legacy will live on through the memories of his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 9:30am – 10:45am at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1450 Green Trail Dr, Naperville, IL 60540; followed by a Memorial Mass at 11am.
