Students Recognized by National Merit® Scholarship Program
We are happy to announce that several members of the class of 2021 have been recognized by the National Merit® Scholarship Corporation for their incredible academic achievements. Over 1.5 million students took the PSAT in the fall of 2019, which allowed them to qualify for this program. Of those students, 50,000 students who scored the highest are recognized for their impressive achievement. About 16,000 students with the highest scores are named semifinalists in the competition and move forward in the program. About 34,000 students are recognized as Commended Students, as well.
This year, we congratulate Aiden B. '21 and John A. '21 as Semifinalists. We also congratulate Margaret B. '21, Owen F. '21, Katherine L. '21, Zachary M. '21, and Andrew Y. '21 as Commended Students. We are so proud of these Spartans!
