Girls Volleyball Wins 3A State Championship

Spartan Girls Volleyball won the 3A State Championship on Saturday, November 11, against Lincoln High School! This is the team's second consecutive state title and the 14th state title in Spartan Girls Volleyball history.
 
The Spartans prevailed 23-25, 25-23, 26-24 on Saturday against Lincoln after defeating Morton High School on Friday, November 10, in two sets, 26-24, 29-27.

In an interview with the Daily Herald, Coach Lisa Ston said the championship match was a hard-earned battle against a very good team and that the Spartans have several big-time players. The strength of the team lies in their balance, she added, which showed in the final statistics.

We are so proud of this team’s hard work and dedication that brought this incredible victory and outstanding accomplishment. Coaches, fans, students - our entire Spartan community - thank you for your support and encouragement!
