Deactivation of the Parent-Student Portal
In order for teachers to finalize their final semester averages, the Parent-Student Portal will be deactivated on Tuesday, May 19 at 8:00 am. On Wednesday, May 27 at 8:00 am, the Parent-Student Portal will be reactivated. Students are encouraged to check the portal Wednesday, May 27 and contact their teachers immediately if there is a grade discrepancy. Once grades are verified, report cards will be printed and mailed. We estimate report cards will be mailed the week of June 8, 2015.

As St. Francis High School continues to move forward with our Mobile Learning Initiative, the teachers have finalized their book(s) selection for their 2015-2016 courses.

This list will help you determine which textbooks to sell back to ESCO/edtech and which ones to keep.

Please note that some courses have books that are available in print only, ebook only, or the book format is the student’s choice. In addition, some courses do not have a required book to purchase, or the book will be provided by the school when classes begin.

SUMMER See It Differently, Chicago!

Students are invite to join us for an awesome experience that will satisfy their service requirement for next year while providing them with the opportunity to stay overnight in Chicago and participate in a variety of service experiences with their friends. Space is limited. Permission slips and $130 holds the spot. Stop by Pastoral Ministry for more info.

  • When: June 29-30, 2015. The SFHS van will leave SF at 8 am Monday and return by 8:00pm on Tuesday. Meet at Door 19.
  • Where: Brother David Darst Center, Bridgeport neighborhood in Chicago
  • Bring comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes. You may be outside so dress for the weather!
  • Linens and towels are provided

  • You may bring snacks to share
  • Bring a refillable water bottle

Become a part of St. Francis High School history! Commemorate your years at St. Francis, or honor a special student, teacher, coach or event. This is also a great way to memorialize a loved one, celebrate a birthday, wedding, birth of a child, or an anniversary with a lasting gift.



The construction of the new Lacy Family Gateway Building brings the opportunity for the purchase of brick pavers that will be installed in 2015 to coincide with the completion of the new building. The bricks will be placed in the walkway leading to the entrance.
