The St. Francis High School community would like to extend our condolences to the Lewek family on the passing of Albert P. Lewek '69, husband of Merekay Norwood '67 Lewek; brother of Peter Lewek '71, Jean Lewek '74 and Lawrence Lewek '79.
Albert P. Lewek, age 66, a resident of Lombard for 45 years, passed away on February 26, 2018. Beloved husband to Merekay for 44 years. Loving father of Anne Marie (Marcel) Herrera Lewek and Kathryn (Brian Harzstark) Lewek. Dear grandfather of Alexandra and Andrew. Fond brother of Peter, Jean and Larry (Candy). Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Albert was the owner of Lewek Photography & Frame Studio in Glen Ellyn, past President to the Rotary Club of Glen Ellyn, past President of the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce, Board member of the Glen Ellyn Historical Society and Board member of the Lombard Library.
