“The Critical Voice: To Whom Are You Listening?” by Dr. Ann Letourneau and Dr. Elissa McGovern from the Central DuPage Pastoral Counseling Center
Do you ever find yourself thinking, “I can’t do this,” or “That was a stupid thing to say!”? While many people have such a negative, constant dialogue, they do not stop to consider how it is holding them back or what life might be like without having the forever running critical voice. This workshop will help the participants to become more curious about the negativity and assist them in beginning to find an acceptance of self that leads to a sense of freedom. Participants will not only receive helpful information but will also have the opportunity to practice skills and integrate faith which will help them find a more balanced inner voice.
