We boldly write St. Francis High School’s next chapter as we chart an exciting course for the important and inspired work outlined in our dynamic Strategic Plan, Preserving the Legacy. Building for the Future.
This plan is the culmination of 18 months of assessments, visioning, and seeking input from across the St. Francis High School community. In March 2020 the Board of Directors approved a new strategic plan. It lays forth an ambitious and exciting vision for our future as together we embark on making the next 60 years at St. Francis transformational for our students, alumni, faculty, staff, and the greater community.
Vision for the Future
By 2030, St. Francis High School is to be counted among the top three-four Catholic high schools in Illinois, and is known as a premier school for transformative, college preparatory, Catholic high school education in Illinois. In order to sustain longevity and success in pursuing this vision, St. Francis recognizes it must have a detailed strategy for how it will continue to meet the needs of students, families and the community it serves.
- Curricular and Co-Curricular Excellence
Enhance the St. Francis High School experience in ways that further develop and foster a caring culture of excellence in college-readiness, spiritual formation, and well-being throughout life.
- Our Campus & Environment
Create a physical campus, facilities, and technology infrastructure that enables and strengthens our curricular and co-curricular programs and advances our mission.
- Financial Strength
Build a strong financial base that will ensure the school is well positioned to meet long-term needs.
- Expand Our Reach
Engage and support our alumni, and foster stronger relationships with the broader community, that cultivate trust, regard, and loyalty among both present and future Spartans.
