Students come to St. Francis from 96 feeder grade schools, 43 communities, Wheaton to Shanghai. Since 2012, St. Francis has offered Mandarin Chinese and hosted an International Student Program.



Our average teacher-student ratio--one teacher for every 14 students.

St. Francis College Preparatory tradition is threefold: foundational curriculum + honors, Advanced Placement classes + academic electives.
Our curriculum provides each student with Religious Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, World Languages, Physical Education, and exceptional levels of electives in Business & Technology and Performing and Visual Arts. Most disciplines offer honors classes, and students may take Advanced Placement tests for college credit.

98% of St. Francis students participate in school-sponsored activities. Clubs and activities schedule meetings during Activity Period, which falls between school dismissal and 3:15 pm. St. Francis encourages all students to explore interests or visit teachers at this time. Sports practices begin at 3:15.



65% of St. Francis students participate in at least one sport. Students may play one sport per season. Girls’ sports: basketball, cheerleading, cross country, dance, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball. Boys’ sports: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, wrestling.

63% of St. Francis students participate in Performing and Visual Arts. An astounding number of St. Francis students discover their passion for drawing, painting, sculpting, singing, acting, writing, and playing a musical instrument. Our esteemed Visual Arts department offers two tracks of art: foundational as well as college-focused portfolio art. Involvement in marching band, drumline, pep band, concerts, plays, musicals, and art exhibits lead to even greater academic success and achievement in our evolving world.
