What is it really like to attend St. Francis? Can you thrive here? Find out in a realistic way by following a current student through his or her schedule. This is a one-on-one experience, and we promise a fun, educational, and inclusive day. We also promise you will have a better understanding of yourself and our community after your shadow visit.
In order to truly experience the beauty of St. Francis High School, a Shadow Day is essential. We wholeheartedly invite you to visit!
Fall is a perfect time for eighth graders to shadow. We offer spring visits for seventh graders as well. Transfer students may visit any time. Not sure what to expect? Here are some general guidelines:
Enter the St. Francis campus using the drive way on the west side of the school.
Drop Off at door #19 (Spyglass Athletic Center) between 7:20 a.m. - 7:30 a.m., you are welcome to stop in or just drop your student off at the doors. If he/she is arriving with a sibling or friend just have them meet me during that time slot.
Dress in Sunday best (no jeans, no leggings or jeggings please).
We will provide a free lunch pass.
Bring a book or homework to keep busy during the quiet times in the day.
Please do not bring a backpack or bag, we do not allow these during the school day.
Pick up will be at 3:00 p.m. (Spyglass Athletic Center, door #19). Unless they have a ride arranged after school with a student in which case they may leave with them.
