|Physical Education and Health|
The Physical Education and Health Department requires five semesters of physical education classes. This requirement is met by one semester of physical education each year. Health is a one-semester course required during the sophomore year.
This required curriculum enhances the students’ skills and knowledge in physical, mental, and social activities with an emphasis on fitness. It also enriches their background and develops their appreciation for the social and physical aspects of a variety of activities in their environment. Through both health and physical education classes, students develop lifetime activities to maintain a physically fit and emotionally healthy lifestyle. Graduation requirement: 2.5 credits, must include PE I, II, III, IV and Health.
