|Learning Resource Center|
The Robinson Family Learning Resource Center provides students with modern 21st century resources. Students can examine print material or they may connect to a vast selection of electronic reference books and scholarly articles. With over 25 online databases, 6,000 print volumes, and more than 50 periodical publications, the library is a hub for information sharing and a place that promotes highly developed research skills, ethical use of intellectual property, appreciation for variety in literature, and the pleasure of reading.
Time Out for Reading is a program designed to provide students and staff with a time to read for personal pleasure, enjoyment and relaxation in hopes that this time will spur the reader to set aside in their daily life to continue the habit of reading. It is also a time for students and staff to come together in a relaxed atmosphere to discuss and share ideas about a common reading experience. Refreshments and thematic decorations help to create a mood conducive to open sharing and the creation of new relationships.
