Any student interested in joining the Arts & Crafts Club for 2nd semester, should sign up with Mrs. Rupp as soon as possible. The Arts & Crafts Club meets every other Monday from 2.35 to 3.15 pm . This semester activities will include an "Alice in Wonderland" themed craft party, jewelry making,Tie-Dye, making fleece blankets, pottery, and lots more. Did you sell some CASH Raffle tickets over the holidays? Check your counter, your drawers, wherever you stash your stuff. This is your LAST CHANCE to take part in the CASH Raffle Incentive Drawings. The winner of the third incentive drawing will receive two tickets for the Auction on March 8TH. Sell $100 worth of raffle tickets and return the stubs to the school office by MONDAY, January 20th and you will be entered into the third and final incentive drawing. Help us reach our $30,000 goal! Congratulations to senior Maria Penas who has been selected to receive the Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship. Maria was nominated last fall for this scholarship program and was selected for her outstanding academic achievement and community service.
Congratulations to sophomore Serena Harnack, who was featured in the Daily Herald Neighbor section on Monday, January 6, 2014, as one of the Faces of 2013. Serena was featured for her skill as a violinist.

Daddy Daughter Night
The Daddy Daughter Event will be held on Saturday, January 25th from 7-9pm. We will be having a teambuilding/rock climbing event at Vertical Endeavors in Warrenville. Light refreshments will be served. The cost is $25 per participant. Please print and return the response form by January 18th.

The annual Mother-Son Brunch will be held on Sunday, January 26, 2014at the Hilton Naperville-Lisle.
We encourage all levels - freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior - and their moms to attend. Start as freshman now and make it a yearly tradition!

2014-2015 Financial Aid Information
Any family interested in applying for financial aid for 2014-2015, should apply online at www.factstuitionaid.com. To better serve you, FACTS has updated the financial aid process to make it more user friendly. This year's application period will run from January 1 - March 1.
All upperclassmen wishing to receive financial aid must apply annually.

It's here! This month, St. Francis High School will host a retreat for adults. Living in Christ is a 12 hour retreat over 3 days. No overnights! Join the community for small group sharing, witnesses, Reconciliation, and Mass.

Father's Club Wine Tasting Event
Please join the Father's Club for our first annual Wine Tasting with proceeds to benefit the St. Francis Father's Club Scholarship Fund. The event is being held on January 16th at Glen Oak Country Club in Glen Ellyn with festivities beginning at 6:30pm It promises to be a great night of wine, food and fun with entertainment provided by St Francis's own Chamber Choir and Jazz Band.
