Chris Herren to speak on
North High School Presents Chris Herren
Francis High School community is invited to Naperville North on
February 18 at 7:00 pm to listen to Chris Herren speak about his
journey through the NBA and the devastating effects drugs have had
on his life. His story will have a dramatic impact on students and
parents alike. Chris is the author of Basketball Junkie and was
featured in ESPN's Unguarded (available on Netflix and iTunes).
Chris has created a foundation, Project Purple, which is dedicated
to helping people battle addictions.
North is expecting a very large turnout, so please arrive
early. This promises to be worth every minute of your time!

Revolution Prep will offer an ACT prep course on the St. Francis
High School campus this spring. The course begins on Tuesday,
February 25, and ends on Thursday, April 10, leading up to the
April 12 ACT test. It meets on Tuesdays from 3:15 PM to 7:15 PM and
on Thursdays from 3:15 PM until 6:15 PM. The cost of the course is

registration and collection of materials will take place during the

Goldenrod Tuition Payment Form, and
Students who do
not hand in the required paperwork on the day of their registration
will be placed on HOLD until the paperwork is completed. Students
placed on HOLD will jeopardize their placement into elective courses
for the 2014-2015 school-year.

blood is a contribution to the entire community; it's the right thing
to do! At this time of year, donations are typically down due
to the cold and flu season. Therefore, we are asking parents and
friends of St. Francis High School to please consider donating. Your

High School is once again looking for families interested in hosting
an international student in their home for a 10 month home stay
beginning in August of the upcoming 2014 -2015 school year. This is a
great opportunity for your family to connect with hardworking
students and to help them achieve their dreams of a top tier
education here at St. Francis High School.
are expected to provide a warm, secure and healthy home environment
as well as a bedroom for the student. Host families should be
enthusiastic about cultural diversity, willing to welcome
international guests with an open mind and support their student in
academic and co-curricular activities. Host families may be eligible
to receive up to a $1,000/month stipend to help cover the costs of
room and board.
