On Friday, May 12, St. Elizabeth Seton in Naperville is sponsoring two events intended to foster awareness and healing for mental health, addiction, special needs, and suicide. St. Francis students and families are invited to these events. The first is Send Silence Packing, a traveling exhibit that will be on display at North Central College. The exhibit includes backpacks of information about college students who have died from suicide. The intent of that exhibit is to match resources to those in need, help eliminate the stigma of mental illness and prevent the crushing blow of suicide. The other event is the annual Mass for Mental Health that is held that night at 7:00pm at St. Elizabeth Seton in Naperville. The Mass is followed by a reception with speakers and mental health professionals. If you have questions about these events, contact: Deacon Gerard Erickson, St. Elizabeth Seton, c. 630-669-5653 or visit www.NeedYouRightNow.com
