St. Francis Cheerleading team try-outs will be held: Monday October 24th, 2016 from 5:30-7:30pm and Wednesday October 26th, 2016 from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm in Slantdome both days.


The Sophomore, Junior and Senior “Lunch and Lit” will take place next Thursday, Oct. 27th, as part of Red Ribbon Week. Students will discuss the timely book, “Girl in Pieces,” the story of Charlie as she tries to recover from years of cutting and the pitfalls she encounters on her way. Students should sign up in the library prior to their discussion and bring their lunch to the library on their discussion day.


Attention Eucharistic Ministers: We are in need of several students to serve as Eucharistic Ministers at a special Alumni Memorial Mass on Sunday, November 6 at 10:00 a.m. Please see Mrs. Stiefel if you are able to serve.


Fall Play crew will meet tomorrow from 11am-4pm. Please bring clothes to paint in. Those who are interested in being on Run Crew for the Fall Play, please see Ms. Toussaint by Monday, October 24th for information.


Attention all students: The ultimate HALLOWEEN FOOD & CRAFT PARTY is THIS coming Monday. Only a couple of spots left, so time to sign up NOW! On Monday the Arts & Crafts Club and Culinary Club will make YUMMIE Halloween treats and SPOOOOOOKY Halloween crafts. Activities will include making your own Halloween door signs, room decorations & spooky books as well as YUMMIE Halloween-themed food items. Arts & Crafts members do NOT need to sign up. All other students DO NEED to sign up. see Mrs. Holinger, Ms. Fairhead or Mrs. Rupp TODAY to secure your spot for this fun activity.


Attention Seniors: Don’t forget that you must have ACT or the College Board send your official ACT and SAT scores to your colleges so the scores are received by your college deadline. Go to or and go to the Send Scores link to complete this process. If you are meeting a November 1 deadline, you must do this today.


Attention Freshmen! Don’t forget to vote for your Class officers! The link is on the bottom of the St. Francis homepage. Voting closes today at noon, so don’t delay!


Red Ribbon Week is next week! Celebrate a being a Spartan that makes Positive Decisions! Check the Board for event info and dress down information. Monday, October 24, is Wear Red and “Be Comfortable in Your Own Skin!” Wear a red top and sweatpants or flannel pants! Please remember NO YOGA PANTS! Also sign the pledge during lunch that “A Healthy Me, is Drug Free!”
