Note from the Principal
Five members of St. Francis High School's Evergreen Club participated in the Northeastern Illinois Envirothon on Thursday, April 7, 2016.

This event is a "hands-on" and "in-the-field" learning opportunity for students to demonstrate their knowledge about forestry, soils, aquatics and wildlife in the Illinois area. Students had the chance to learn from professionals in their fields of expertise and then complete a series of tests and labs. Finally, each team had to create a presentation about "Invasive Species" that was scored by a panel of judges.

The 2016 St. Francis High School team included Emma Johnson '16, Marirose Rueth '16, Gabi Napoli '17, Claire McGaw '17, and Morgan England '17. These students took first place for DuPage County, which is back-to-back wins for the St. Francis Evergreen Club.
