Condolences to the Webb Family

The St. Francis High School Community would like to extend our condolences to the Webb family on the passing of Eileen Webb, mother of Greg Webb '67, Mary Webb '71 Carrier, Sarah Webb '73 and the late Margaret "Meg" Webb '69; grandmother of  Addie Carroll '02, John T. Webb '04 (Lindsay Gallagher '04 Webb), Erin Webb '05, Emily Webb '07, Meg Chrisman '07, Jack Webb '13, Maggie Webb '14 and Katie Webb '17; and great-grandmother of Madelyn Wardynski '18. 


Eileen C. Webb nee: Carroll age 90, passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 15, 2015. She was a 50 year resident of Glen Ellyn and formerly of Joliet. Beloved wife of the late Packey Webb; loving mother of Patrick M. Webb Jr., Carroll (Patrick) Keigher, Greg ‘67 (Mary Ellen) Webb, Mary Webb ’71 Carrier, Sarah Webb ‘73, Lisabeth Webb, J. Bradley Webb, Thomas Webb, Joyce Webb (Walter Hutter), John (Molly) Webb & the late Margaret "Meg" Webb ‘69; dear grandmother of 30; great grandmother of 22; loving daughter of the late Marguerite McFadden Carroll Boucher; fond sister of Susan (James) Benson & the late Virginia (late Robert) Jones and aunt of many nieces & nephews. Eileen was a longtime parishioner of St. James the Apostle & St. Petronille Church of Glen Ellyn, a 40 year parishioner of The Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet, IL. She enjoyed volunteering her time at Marionjoy, the University of St. Francis in Joliet and the Visitation & Aid Society also of Joliet. She was a longtime member of the Glen Oak Country Club, enjoyed playing golf, bridge, attending study groups, traveling, her winters in Naples, FL., attending her children & grandchildren's events, the company of her many friends and the dedicated Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate. Her visitation will be Wednesday, June 17th from 1-9 p.m. at the Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St. Glen Ellyn. Interment Thursday 9a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 200 W. Romeo Rd. Romeoville, IL. followed by a funeral Mass in her honor at St. Petronille Church, 420 Glenwood Ave. Glen Ellyn at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Sisters of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate Retirement Fund, 1433 Essington Rd. Joliet, IL. or Joliet Community Area Hospice Development Office 250 Water Stone Cir, Joliet, IL 60431 or CNS Hospice 690 E North Ave # 100, Carol Stream, IL 60188.
