St. Francis High School is delighted to announce a major gift to the second phase of the “Bring It All Back Home” campaign from the Nicole and Todd Lacy Family to St. Francis for the purpose of constructing “The Lacy Family Gateway Building.”
The Lacy Family Gateway Building will provide a home for the Spartans’ dance and wrestling programs, as well as improve accommodations for spectators with restrooms and new concessions facilities. Physical education classes will also use the building. The budget for the project is $1.37 million. Construction will begin in the late spring and be completed in August 2015.
“St. Francis is a community that provides an excellent education, not only in academics but also in the Catholic faith,” Nicole said. “Our sons, like all of the students, are provided many opportunities to excel in a variety of areas; academics, athletics, and the arts. The Lacy Family Gateway Building will become another area in which the students can grow,” she added. “The St. Francis community has given so much to our family and we are proud to be able to be a part of its ongoing mission to provide a faith filled environment for its students.”
The "Bring it All Back Home" campaign has enhanced the environment and improved the safety for our students who now are able to remain on campus for practices and home contests. With everyone’s help, we will be able to provide an outstanding facility for our student-athletes, families, alumni and friends who participate in and cheer on the dance, football, lacrosse, soccer and track & field and wrestling programs.
Please join us in thanking the Nicole and Todd Lacy family for all they have done to ensure our future.
