Molly Haggerty '16 (#9 in the team photo) was one of 12 athletes chosen for the Women Junior National Volleyball Team.  Erin Virtue '02 (second to last coach in the back row - on the right) was an Assistant Coach for this team. At the end of June, Molly, Erin and the team met to train at the University of Minnesota.  On July 5th, they left for Guatemala where they played St. Lucia and went 3-0, then Mexico and went 3-0 again.  They beat the Dominican Republic in the semi
finals (3-0) and took the gold when they beat Cuba in the championships (3-0).

"It was so great working with another fellow SFHS Spartan.  Molly Haggerty '16 was a delight to coach!  SFHS Volleyball has a bright future with her on their roster!", said Erin Virtue '01.

This win was the NORCECA qualifier, so the team will now play in the 2015 U20 World Championship in Turkey.

Congratulations to Molly Haggerty '16, Erin Virtue '01 and their team!
